Over two days actors will work with Annelie Powell developing their theatre auditioning skills in a variety of areas. We'll be working on classical text and also new writing. On the second day participants will select a piece of new writing to perform to a panel of industry experts (writer, director, casting director, agent) and will also receive feedback on it along with constructive criticism on their CV and photograph. The course will finish with a Q&A session with the panel. Please bring your CV and photo with you.

Annelie Powell

Annelie is a London-based casting director who has worked extensively in theatre, TV and film. Her recent credits include the short film LIMBO and the feature film, Sons of the Morning. As an assistant casting director she worked on South Riding, The Shadow Line and Holby City. She has cast productions at Theatre 503, Trafalgar Studios, The Arcola and Jermyn Street Theatre as well as Regents Park Open Air Theatre and the Liverpool Everyman as an assistant.
